No More Drama & Chaos!
"The angel
laid hold of the dragon, that
serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan,
and bound him for a thousand years."
Revelation 20: 2
We can divide the biblical story of redemption
into large sections. Genesis 1–2: God brings
order out of chaos in Creation. Genesis 3:
Satan’s entrance leads to sin and a curse
over all creation.
Genesis 4–Revelation 19: The earth is characterized
by chaos as God works to reverse the effects of
sin.
Revelation 20: Satan is bound by God for a thousand
years, and order is restored on earth
after which Satan
and his demons are confined to judgment for eternity.
When Satan is present, there is disorder,
discord, and death. When Satan is absent,
there is peace: “no more death, nor sorrow,
nor crying...no more pain” (Revelation
21:4).
The difference between the effects of Satan’s
presence or absence will be starkly evident in
the thousand-year Millennium when he will be
bound “so that he might not deceive the nations
any longer” (Revelation 20:3).
We have never experienced a
Satan-free world, but it is coming!
If you belong to Christ, you will be
able to rejoice in that millennial day.
"The whole history of the world is
discovered to be but a contest
between the wisdom of God
and the cunning of Satan."
