God Sees & Knows All!
"Your eyes saw my substance, being yet
unformed. And in Your book they all were
written, the days fashioned for me, when
as yet there were none of them."
Psalm 139: 16
Psalm 139 speaks to two of God’s most important
attributes: His omniscience and
His omnipresence.
Omniscience means God is all-knowing;
omnipresence means God is present
everywhere at the same time.
The comfort for me in those attributes is that
God always knows my thoughts and
always
knows where I am. He sees me and knows
what I am thinking and feeling—all the time.
Psalm 146 provides a list of those whose needs the
Lord attends: oppressed, hungry, the prisoners, the
blind, those
weighed down by circumstances, the
righteous, strangers, the fatherless, and widows.
Do any of those categories include you?
If not, in what category do you put yourself?
The psalmist’s list is not comprehensive but
representative of humanity especially those
whom the world may have overlooked. But
God doesn’t overlook anyone!
Wherever you are right now and whatever
you are thinking, thank God that He sees
and knows. Put your hope in Him.
"To know
that God knows everything
about me and yet loves me is indeed
my ultimate consolation."
